I am a medical student at the University of Zimbabwe College Of Health Sciences.I am in my third year.I come from a remote rural area called Chirumanzu communal lands which is about 350km fom the capital Harare.I am the first born in a family of six.All my siblings are of school going age.It has become a struggle for my parents  to support them financially since they are peasant farmers and don't get much from the farming and are also very advanced in age.They are thefore unable to support me finacially with my University fees.I am therefore on the verge of dropping out of my studies as I come from a poor background.As you may well know things are not particularly going well economically  in Zimbabwe with infation above 1200% and life has become terribly hard for me .

I really want complete my studies and being a medical doctor has always been my life long dream.The total fees for this semester(starting January to July) are at Zim$660 000 which is about US$220 using the prevailing parallel exchange rates.The fees include both accomoadation and tuition.The fees are also listed on the University of Zimbabwe website here
